Modifications to my YEEP

Front driveshaft boot is missing. For $248.00 I could have replaced the seal and driveshaft but I choose the $12 option of a rubber boot, so far it's still holding.

Boot installed and sealed up. Note the heavy duty radiator hose clamps on both ends of the boot. I used these instead of the supplied clamps for a more secure fit and better holding abil ...

Before the clutch install, I noticed oil dripping from the rear main seal...CRAP!! More work to do

Exhaust removed, oil drained.....aarrrr draining for the removal of the rear main seal.

Removed the exhaust, oil pan, and loosened the main crank bolts in order to remove the rear main end cap, (notice it's loose), the previous owner sure likes that orange sealant crap

New rear main seal installed along with a cork oil pan gasket. No perma-sealent was used for the gasket, instead I used a type of cement (forgot what it's called) but it's waterproof and doe ...
